Quirky home that we just have to highlight here. It’s a residential building somewhere in Amsterdam.

How cool is that? Too bad we can’t really see how the structure is supported from this distance. Unless it’s a photoshopped pic.

Its probably cantilevered. Its a popular trend in Japan also.

definitely not photoshopped. Amsterdam is famous for those designs. Been there, seen that.

Is design by famous dutch architect MVRDV. The structure system is simple, basically the whole catilevered house is a space frame structure support by the main building containing corridor and services

The building is designed by famous Dutch architect MVRDV. The concept of the structure is simple. The whole cantilivered house is a steel space frame supported by the main building contain circulation and services. Windows and openings punch thru the gaps of the space frame and become apartments
