Some selection of strange and interesting homes from around the world.

roman car
Colourful, but note the cars sticking out from the walls!

Egyptian themed home. Like a very small version of Sunway Pyramid.

Not sure if its a house shaped like a ship, or a ship turned into a house!

Well, if you don’t like neighbours…

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe…”

Happy Deepavali from Property Malaysia

Property Malaysia wishes all our Hindu readers a belated Happy Deepavali!

We had a good holiday on Deepavali, and this weekend we are planning to visit more new launches around the city, so watch out for new reviews coming starting next week. With the year end coming, most developers are still planning launches before the school holidays, after which there is traditionally a lull until after the Chinese New Year.

If you are always complaining your house is small and narrow, then maybe you should take a look at this house.

It is said to be the narrowest house in the world, just over a meter in width.

How To Build A House in A Day

Found this video clip at this great website.

It uses a wood framing technology, originally coming from Japan and now in use in the USA.

If it is a small house, you can finish it in a day, while bigger house may take up to 3 days. Nifty.

Poll: Would You Pay More for Awesome Landscaping in Your Development?

Nowadays, developers tend to go for extensive landscaping to enhance their development especially when it comes to landed projects that are larger than a certain size. This comes in the form of landscaped parks, lakes (man-made or natural) streetscaping and viewing gazebos, etc.

While landscaping lends to the overall tropical or nature theme of the project, they usually cost a lot of money to build and maintain, and inevitably this cost is passed down to the buyers whether they know it or not. But on the other hand, it enhances the beauty and value of the area, but at a price.

So what do you prefer: Would You Pay More for Awesome Landscaping in Your Development?
